The Complete Book of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy by Valerie Ann Worwood

Obvious not a nutrition book but definitely worthy of being on my recommended list as it is packed with useful information on using essential oils and aromatherapy safely. I know it’s easy to Google just about anything these days, but I prefer to hold a book in my hands and know I can get my favorite ‘recipes’ whenever I need them without having to get online. This is my go-to manual for Essential Oil information. I really like the fact that the author gives plenty of alternative oils to use in case you do not have the first recommendations at hand.

The book is conveniently broken down into reference sections and there are plenty of them. Believe me, this is one hefty book! Sections include First Aid, Immunity, Babies and Children, Emotions, Travelling, Women, Men, Ageing, Sports, using oils in Beauty, using them around your home, for animals, and in the garden. There is also a comprehensive section on safety. In addition to all that, the author also touches on exercise and dietary advice showing that she understands the interactions of them all when it comes to health.
